LARCHWOOD, Iowa – Minnesota State Moorhead golf would conclude fall action on Monday and Tuesday as part of the USF Invite in Larchwood, Iowa. The 36-hole tournament took place at the Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort.
On day one, Moorhead would shoot a collective 369 to sit in 13
th place. After a cumulative score of 376 on day two, the Dragons placed 13
th as a team with a 36-hole score of 745.
The first round would see
Halle Balluff lead the Dragons, shooting an 86 overall through 18 holes. Balluff would card seven pars in her round, including the par-five second hole which spanned 465 yards. Freshman
Adi Houkom would finish six strokes back of Balluff, shooting a 92 on the first day. Houkom had four even scores in the round.
Regan Braun would be a stroke behind Houkom with a 93 overall in her first 18. Braun also holed four pars in her round, including a pair of even counts on par-five holes.
Aspen Beyer would conclude the scoring on day one for the Dragons, shooting a 98 with three pars.
Karlee Luneckas would card a 105 overall with a trio of pars.
Balluff would also the lead the Dragon pack on day two, shooting an 87 overall. The senior had eight pars in her round and was exceptionally steady in the front nine. Balluff had a string of five straight pars to highlight the effort. Braun would see a 95 on her scorecard on the second day with three pars, all coming on par-three holes.
Beyer would see a three-stoke improvement on day two, marking a 95 overall. The sophomore would hole three pars on the back nine. Luneckas would improve by six strokes to enter the scoring, carding a 99. Houkom would round out the Dragon competitors with a second-round 105.

The Dragons have now completed the fall portion of the 2025-26 season. MSUM will open action in its championship season on Thursday, March 12 as part of the SMSU Challenge in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
