KENOSHA, Wis. -- Minnesota State Moorhead wrestling saw another win from senior
Pedro Velazquez against third-ranked Parkside on Saturday evening. The Dragons fell to the Rangers, 39-3.
At 141 pounds,
Pedro Velazquez would collect his eighth win in 10 matches for Moorhead. Velazquez would defeat Parkside's Troy Dolphin in a close 6-3 decision to secure an undefeated weekend. The victory would provide the lone team points for MSUM in the dual.
Isaiah Wright turned in a spirited performance at heavyweight for the Dragons against Cooper Caraway. Wright would fall in a narrow 2-0 decision with the difference being a pair of escapes for Caraway.
