MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead wrestling dropped an NSIC road dual with (RV) Minnesota State on Friday. The Dragons saw wins from Wyatt Powell and Liam Babitt but fell to the Mavs 40-10. 
 
Minnesota State would begin the dual with eight consecutive victories to tally a 40-0 lead. The final two matches of the evening went Moorhead's way, however as Wyatt Powell scored a pin at 197 pounds. Powell was leading Griffin Marko 6-0 in the third period before sticking Marko at 6:15. Heavyweight Liam Babitt would button up the dual for Moorhead with a major decision victory over Callen Smithpeter. Babitt was quick to his offense in an 8-0 major decision victory.
