For #ThrowbackThursday MSUM features Dragon volleyball from three decades ago. Under the direction of Head Coach Mary Curtis, the 1990 Dragons went 36-12 and also won NAIA Bi-District 6 and NAIA District 13 titles. That team advanced to the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Tournament. In this photo Curtis is lifted up by Dragon players after winning one of the bi-district titles.  The 1989 Dragons went 28-16 and won the NAIA Bi-District 6 and NAIA District 13 titles.  Cheri Pundsack was a two-time all-district player during those two seasons.
Curtis served as MSUM head coach for eight seasons.
