ABERDEEN, S.D. – Andre Baguma finished fourth while Anthony Castro finished fifth in the NCAA Super Regional V tournament to lead MSUM in postseason competition.
 
Both would reach the championships semifinals. 
 
Castro utilized a pin in his first match to create some momentum that would carry him to the semifinal before falling to UMary's Max Bruss. Castro eventually ended up in the fifth-place match with Southwest Minnesota State's Elijah Sterner. Castro would end his career with a decision win over Sterner to place fifth. 
 
In Baguma's case, he began his day with a decision win over top-seeded Zach Ryg of Upper Iowa. While the senior would fall in a very close match to reigning national champion Darrell Mason in the semifinals, Baguma would rebound. He battled out a sudden victory decision over St. Cloud State's Elijah Novak to secure a spot in the third-place match. 
 
With the chance at nationals on the line, Baguma could not obtain the crucial takedown on Minot State's Jake Swirple. The senior fell 3-2.
