SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Madison Braun shot sub-90 scores in each of her two rounds to lead the Dragons at the Augustana Spring Invite on Friday and Saturday. Braun collected 11 pars and a birdie over 36 holes for MSUM. 
 
MSUM finished seventh overall as a team, shooting a cumulative score of 747. 
 
The Dragons opened the tournament with a 370 overall round as a team. Madison Braun paced MSUM on day one with seven pars to shoot an 84 overall through 18 holes. Callie Krause chipped in four pars in her first round, turning in an 89 scorecard on Friday. Meghan McBride shot a 97 with three pars on day one. 
 
Halle Balluff and Erin Summerbell played as individuals with Balluff shooting a 94 in round one. Summerbell improved her first-round score by eight strokes in round two, turning in a 93 in her final 18 holes on Saturday. Summerbell picked up a birdie on the par three fifth hole to go along with four pars in the round. 
 
On Saturday, Ellie Fischer improved her score by five strokes to score a 98 in round two. McBride scored two birdies in her final round to shoot a 198 overall over 36 holes. 
 
Braun rounded out her strong tournament by shooting an 87 in round two to finish tied for 19^th  overall. Braun collected a birdie on the par four 10^th hole to go along with four pars in the round. The senior shot a team-best 171 for the tournament. As a team, MSUM would shoot a 377 overall in the final round.

MSUM is scheduled to close their season at the NSIC Golf Championships April 28-30 in Smithville, Mo. However, the Dragons are looking to schedule a make-up tournament in place of the Upper Iowa Invite, which they removed themselves from due to weather last week.
