LAKE CITY, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead golf wrapped play at The Jewel Invitational, hosted by Winona State on Tuesday. After 36 holes, MSUM finished in 12
th place on the team leaderboard with an overall score of 707.
Halle Balluff would lead the Dragons on the second day, carding an 84 overall. Balluff's five-stroke improvement from day one came thanks to eight pars as well as a birdie. The senior scored a three on the par-four sixth hole at The Jewel. Balluff earned even scores on four of the five back nine holes as well.
Aspen Beyer would turn in a 90 on her scorecard on day two, putting in six pars in the round. Beyer earned a consecutive trio of even scores on the second, third and fourth holes at The Jewel.
Adi Houkom would card a second round 92 on Tuesday, penciling in four pars as well as a birdie. Houkom earned one-under marks on the par-four fourth hole at The Jewel.
Regan Braun would notch an identical 92 as well on day two for the Dragons. Braun had four holes of even scores through 18 holes.
Karlee Luneckas would improve by four strokes on day two to shoot a 96 overall. Luneckas had three pars in the round, including back-to-back even counts on the eighth and ninth holes.

The Dragons will play again yet this week as they head to Marshall, Minn., for the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invitational. Tee times are scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday morning at Marshall Golf Club.
