MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead track & field will stay local this Saturday. Moorhead will compete at the Cobber Indoor Open, hosted by Concordia College, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Peraza Pops Off...Senior jumperÂ
Jaiden Peraza saw a strong opening to his indoor season at the Bison Team Cup. Peraza would lead the Dragon field efforts on Saturday, winning men's high jump with a leap over the bar at 6-11 (2.11m). For Peraza, the jump is an NCAA provisional effort and is currently tied for the seventh-best high jump in Division II this season. The mark is also the best in the Northern Sun so far this season.Â
A Stellar Debut...Redshirt junior
 Ahniesha Presulme made her Dragon debut last Satuday at the Bison Team Cup. Presulme would collect runner-up marks in women's triple jump with a leap of 38-0.75. That effort matches the fourth-best leap in program history, set by teammateÂ
Allysah Larson earlier this season. Presulme would qualify for the women's 60m hurdle finals as well, clocking a 9.34. She would follow that up with a personal best 9.32 in the final heat for a fifth-place finish. The mark for Presulme is the 10th-fastest in program history.
It's Gregoire, Again...Distance specialistÂ
Jared Gregoire made his return to the indoor track last Saturday at the Bison Team Cup. Gregoire would begin his indoor season with an NCAA provisional performance in the 800m run. Gregoire paced a 1:51.84 to finish in second place with the mark being the eighth-best in Division II so far this season (converted time of 1:50.26). The Buffalo, Minn., native's effort is also tops in the NSIC so far this season.Â
Vantae Vantae Vantae...Senior sprinterÂ
Shavantae Roberts began her indoor campaign with an NCAA provisional showing in the 60m dash. Roberts would dominate the event, winning both preliminary (7.58) and finals (7.59) action. The senior's preliminary mark ranks as the NCAA provisional performance.
Jacobson Goes Long...Sophomore throwerÂ
Justin Jacobson continued to showcase his impressive ability at the Bison Team Cup. Jacobson would turn in another stellar outing for Moorhead in both shot put and weight throw. Jacobson tossed an NCAA provisional 56-0.5 (17.08m) to earn runner-up marks in shot put. The effort for Jacobson is a new personal best and is now the second-best indoor shot put in program history. Jacobson would also place second in weight throw, hurling a 56-01 (17.09m).
