MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead track & field is set to conclude the indoor regular season this Friday as part of the UND Tune-Up in Grand Forks, N.D. Events are scheduled to begin at noon.

Year Of The Jaguar...Redshirt junior
Jared Gregoire earned NSIC Track Athlete of the Week honors after a record-setting weekend at the SDSU Indoor Classic. On Saturday, Gregoire set a new school record in the mile run with a time of 4:00.37, winning the event. The mark for Gregoire was a new meet record and smashed the MSUM record by nearly five seconds. His time currently sits as the 11th-fastest in NCAA Division II this season. Also at the SDSU Indoor Classic, Gregoire would capture an event win in the 800m behind a time of 1:51.79.
Larson Is Soaring...Sophomore
Allysah Larson turned in another strong outing at the SDSU Indoor Classic. In women's triple jump, Larson set another personal best for Moorhead. Larson finished fourth overall with a leap of 38-07.75 (11.78m). The mark is an NCAA provisional jump and is the second-best indoor triple jump in MSUM history. Long jump would see Larson lead the Dragons with a leap of 18-01.5 (5.52m) to place sixth. The mark for Larson stands as the ninth-best in program history.
Jacobson Wins Again...At the SDSU Indoor Classic,
Justin Jacobson capture another event win in men's shot put behind a throw of 55-04.25 (16.87m). Jacobson would also place fifth in weight throw competition with a toss of 57-0 (17.37m). The victory in shot put is Jacobson's third of the indoor season.
That Frosh Is Fast...True freshman sprinter
Cipriana Jones continued her strong indoor season with a pair of impressive results at the SDSU Indoor Classic. Jones would improve on her personal best in the 60m dash, clocking a 7.75 in the qualifying heats. Jones now moves into fifth all-time in MSUM history in the event. In the 200m, Jones would see another personal best effort in the 200m, clocking a 25.46 to place 12
th overall. That mark moves Jones into seventh all-time in Moorhead history.
O'Farrell's Big Week...Senior
Colin O'Farrell was superb for Moorhead at the SDSU Indoor Classic. O'Farrell would win the men's 1000m run on Saturday behind a personal best time of 2:28.50. The senior's time is the eight-fastest in MSUM history. The Spicer, Minn., native also placed runner-up in the 800m for the Dragons with a time of 1:52.05.
The Neu Era...True freshman thrower
Hailey Neumann improved on her shot put personal best for the fourth time at the SDSU Indoor Classic. Neumann would place 11th in the event with a top mark of 41-04.5 (12.61m). The throw for Neumann ties the 10
th-best indoor shot put in program history.
Dragons In The Ranks...The Dragons appeared again the weekly USTFCCCA TFRI Indoor Checkpoints. MSUM's women moved to 23rd in the Central Region in an index that was topped by Pittsburg State. The Dragon men moved up one spot to 10th in the Central Region in a listing that was also led by Pitt State.
