Moorhead Preps for Bison Open & Multi

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead track & field prepares for the annual Bison Open & Multi which begins Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the meet wrapping up on Saturday evening.

Presulme Continues To RIse...At the UND Open, Ahniesha Presulme would set another personal best in the 60m hurdle preliminaries, marking a 9.23. The sprint serves as the eighth-fastest in MSUM history. Presulme would see another strong effort in women's triple jump on Saturday. Presulme won the event behind a leap of 38-05.5 (11.72m) a new season best. The mark stands as the third-best indoor triple jump in MSUM history. 

Jacobson's Mark Improves....Sophomore thrower Justin Jacobson turned in another stellar showing at the UND Open. Jacobson would lead the Dragon men in weight throw, earning eighth-place marks with a top throw of 56-08.5 (17.28m). Jacobson would also improve in the shot put for the third straight week. The sophomore had a top toss of 56-10.25 (17.33m) which won him the event and set an indoor personal best. Jacobson's effort improves on his NCAA provisional mark while also improving the second-best throw in program history. 

Larson Sprints Again...Sophomore Allysah Larson set another personal best at the UND Open last weekend. In the women's 60m dash, Larson would set a personal best of 7.79 which now stands as the sixth-best showing in program history.

High Jumpers Show Up...At the UND Open, Jaiden Peraza would win men's high jump behind a clearance of 6-09.5 (2.07m). Teammate Jasiah Hambira would collect third-place marks after clearing 6-05 (1.96m). Tate Rasmussen (1.91m) would place seventh in the same event.  

Wagner Enters The Top Ten...True freshman Christalea Wagner secured another personal best effort in the 400m at the UND Open. Wagner would guide the Dragon women in the 400m dash, marking a collegiate best time of 58.25. The mark for Wagner now sits as the eighth-fastest 400m in program history.

Ready, Set. Gregoire...Jared Gregoire would pace the men's mile for Moorhead at the UND Open, clocking a 4:07.22 to place sixth overall. The time for Gregoire now stands as the second-fastest in program history. Gregoire hit an NCAA provisional time in the event with the mark now the 20th-fastest in Division II this season.
