DICKINSON, N.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's golf team finished second at the Dickinson State Spring Invite which concluded on Monday at the Heart River Golf Club in Dickinson, N.D.
MSUM finished the tournament with a 708. The Dragons shot a 360 on Sunday and a 348 on Monday, which was a season-best. Minot State, led by a 156 from medalist Anya Ross, won with 641. Dickinson State was third at 726 while Valley City State was fourth at 745.
Junior Meghan McBride finished with a 36-hole total of 168, tying her for seventh in the field of 25 golfers. She shot an 88 on Sunday and followed with a season-best 80 on Monday. The 80 score was the best by a Dragon this season.
Junior Madison Braun finished at 177 (87-90) while freshman Charmaine Haas added a 178 (92-86). Sophomore Erin Summerbell added a 185 (93-92) while freshman Ellie Fischer carded a 188 (99-89) for the tournament. Callie Krause added a 190 (93-97).
The Dragons are scheduled to play at the Augustana Easter Lily Invite on Friday and Saturday,
