MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSUM track & field had a host of event wins and top-five finishes at Saturday's Cobber Open hosted by Concordia College.

Lane Dullum,
Colin O'Farrell,
Sydney Bahls,
Ty Dawkins,
Jerome Crayton and
Brooke Baumann all took home first-place finishes for the Dragons at the meet.
Sprints/Hurdles
Adla Serrao placed second in the 60m hurdles for the Dragons with an impressive time of 9.57. The time is tied for the 10
th fastest in MSUM history.
Mickalyn Babcock (10.39) finished seventh while
Alyssa Ohm (10.57) placed ninth in the same event.
The Dragon men commanded the 60m hurdles with
Shaquiel Higgs winning the event with a time of 8.83.
Logan Kletscher (9.38),
Colby Larson (9.69) and
Peyton Schwehr (9.69) would finish fifth, sixth and seventh for MSUM in the event.
MSUM swept the top four places in the 60m dash with
Ty Dawkins running a winning time of 7.03.
Shaquiel Higgs (7.10),
Logan Kletscher (7.18) and
David Daniels (7.19) finished second, third and fourth for the Dragons.
Elkan Johnson ran a 7.35 in the same event to place seventh.
Jerome Crayton won the 200m dash, clocking in a time of 23.33.
Elkan Johnson (24.10) and
Wyatt Mutzenberger (24.27) placed fifth and sixth respectively.
Isaiah Johnson rounded out the Dragons in the top 10 with a time of 24.85, placing him ninth.
Relays
MSUM's 4x200m relay team of
Mickalyn Babcock,
Adla Serrao,
Alyssa Ohm and
Sophia Sowada clocked in a 1:53.12 in the event, placing second. The Dragon men had two 4x200m relay teams compete, finishing second and third respectively. The team of
Jerome Crayton,
Shaquiel Higgs,
Ty Dawkins and
Logan Kletscher came in second with a time of 1:33.08.
The team of
Colby Larson,
Shaquiel Higgs,
Logan Kletscher and
Wyatt Mutzenberger would finish second in the men's 4x400m relay. The team ran a 3:40.74 in the event.
Jumps/Vaults
Sydney Bahls won the women's pole vault with a top vault of 10'-0.5", her first event victory of the indoor season.
Nicholas Huss placed fourth in the men's pole vault with a vault of 11'-05.75".
In the women's long jump,
Sophia Sowada leaped a 15'-06.25" to place third in the event. Sowada was also runner-up in the women's high jump with her top jump measuring in at 4'-11".
Logan Kletscher was the top placer for the Dragon men in the long jump. The freshman had a best jump of 19'-0.75" to finish fourth.
Kade Larson (17'-7"),
Peyton Schwehr (17'-02.75") and
Nicholas Huss (16'-02.5") all finished in the top ten as well.
Kade Larson placed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 38'-07.75"
Throws
Ben Oie and
Jordan Nolan led MSUM in the men's weight throw. Oie placed third with a long throw of 49'-06.5" while Nolan finished in eighth with a top throw of 45'-02.75". Nolan also placed second in the men's shot put with a throw of 45'-09.25. Oie would finish ninth in the same event with a throw of 42'-08.75".
Katelyn Zaiger had a top throw of 34'-09.5" in the women's shot put to place eighth. Zaiger finished 10
th in the weight throw as well with a toss of 37'-06.25". She followed closely by freshman
Codi Bunting, who threw a 36'-01.25" in the event.
Middle Distance/Distance
Lane Dullum took home an event win in the men's 800m run. The freshman clocked in a winning time of 2:05.9. That time was almost a second better than the second-place finisher.
Colin O'Farrell and
James Dorado finished one-two in the men's 3000m run. O'Farrell won the event with a time of 8:56.77, followed closely by Dorado's 8:57.33 time
Grace Dorsher led the Dragons in the mile run, placing third with a time of 5:37.37. Dorsher also placed third in the 800m, running a 2:38.96. Freshman
Brooke Baumann won the women's 3000m run with a winning time of 11:13.8, which was over 10 seconds better than the second-place finisher. Baumann also won the 800m run with a time of 2:26.83.
Abbie Christen ran a 11:55.18 in the same event to place fourth for MSUM
