Coached men's basketball for 18 seasons at MSUM. . . First coach to lead Dragons to national tournament in 1980. . . Dragon's all-time leader in men's basketball coaching wins at 298. . . Won two conference titles at Moorhead State, named NIC Coach of the Year in 1980-81. . . Led MSUM to 13 trips to NAIA tournament appearances. . . Coached five All-Americans. . . National scoring champ and Academic All-American at Purdue, played professional basketball with the Chicago Bulls and later served as an assistant coach under ex-Dragon Marv Skaar before accepting head post at Moorhead State in 1975.
