Native of ADA, MN…enjoyed prosperous basketball career at Moorhead State in mid-50’s, four-year letter-winner…three-time All-Conference selection for the dragons… Led MSU in scoring in 1956-57 (18.0) and 1957-58 (19.2)… scored 1284 lifetime points in 80 games, averaged 16.0 over collegiate career… scored single game high of 39 points against Mayville state in 1957… Four-year letter-winner in track, specializing in hurdles… recently retired after successful teaching and coaching career at Duluth Central and Duluth East High Schools.
