Hall of Fame
Recruited from Washington, PA where he was a state champion in 1961, Rick was a two-time NAIA wrestling All-American at Moorhead State University. He placed fourth in the nation in 1967 (NAIA) and fifth at the 1967 NCAA Division I championships. Rick was also an NIC champion. He is a physical education instructor at BOLD High School in Olivia, MN. Rick has collected more than 350 wins as a wrestling coach, was named to the Minnesota Wrestling Hall of Fame, was Region Coach of the Year three times, and is a past-president of the Minnesota State Wrestling Coaches Association.
