MSU Moorhead Athletics

A native of Beardsley, MN Tony was a 1960 graduate of Moorhead State University. He spent 27 years as head football coach at Battle Lake, MN high school, posting a 190-43-1 record and winning a pair of state titles. Tony is a four-time Minnesota State Class C Coach of the year, was president of the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association, and was named to the Minnesota Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1989 and the Minnesota Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1994.
