Fargo, N.D. native and a graduate of Fargo South High School... logged rewarding collegiate athletic career in both cross-country and track at Moorhead State...won eight varsity letters...anchored Dragons' AIAW national championship two-mile relay team in 1982, ran on NAIA champion 3200 relay teams In 1983 and 1984...two-time track academic All-American...named Dragons' Outstanding track and field athlete in 1983...won seven northern sun Conference track titles in three years...named to All-NSC cross-country team in 1982 and All-NAIA District 13 cross-country teams in 1982 and 83...All-American in 10 track and field events.
