Four-year football letter winner and twice captain at Moorhead State. Three times All NIC Selection and three times MVP. First Dragon to be named MAIA and Associated Press All-America first teams in 1968. Led nation in rushing and ranked second in scoring as a junior. Graduated in 1970 as leading rusher and scorer in Dragon history.
