North Dakota State High School double tennis champion in 1952. Attended MSU from 1954 to 1958. Raised a family of seven children before organizing Willmar High School’s first girls sport program. Coached Willmar Community College tennis team to the National Tournament in 1983. A leader in bringing equal opportunity and status to women’s sports.
