Hall of Fame
A graduate of Breckenridge, MN high school, Roger graduated from MSU in 1965. A team captain in basketball, Roger also lettered in football & track. He was also “M” Club president & vice-president of the senior class. Roger served as head basketball & cross country coach at Shanley High School in Fargo, ND & then taught at St. Cloud North Junior High from 1965-1995. Among his many accomplishments, Roger was presented the Minnesota Teacher Excellence & Minnesota Honor Roll Teacher Awards in 1975, and was a charter member of the Big Brothers-Big Sisters Program of St. Cloud.
